iPad Mini

But iPad mini isn’t just a scaled-down iPad. We designed it to be a concentration, rather than a reduction, of the original. A refined unibody consolidates more parts into one. A single-cell battery — the thinnest ever made by Apple — takes up less space, but lasts just as long.

I was very confident with this device that it was a pure price play. I couldn’t have been more wrong. This is premium hardware (it has a five-megapixel rear camera, for instance) at premium prices. Apart from the CPU, the bezel design and the display, it may as well be the big iPad. Even though the aesthetics bend more towards the latest generation iPod touch, there is no doubt that this is still an iPad. I can’t wait to see these in person. They look stunning from the initial hands-on.
