Google Wallet Down
If you’re planning on using your NFC-equipped phone and Google Wallet to make some purchases this afternoon, you’re going to be sorely disappointed to hear that the service is down.
Not exactly the best situation for a fledgling service. Outages like this dramatically reduce consumer confidence in the concept, and are one reason why mobile payment adoption is slow.
