Apple Increasing Orders For Gold iPhone 5s Units
Apple Inc. has asked its suppliers to increase production of the gold-colored iPhone 5S by an additional one-third after seeing strong demand, people familiar with the situation said. It isn’t clear whether there are currently supply constraints manufacturing the new iPhone.
I bought ‘Space Grey’, but I was tempted by white. The silver home button ring contrasts with the stark white really nicely. Evidently, though, a lot of people like the gold one.
Unsure why Apple can’t just call it ‘grey’. The other colours don’t have silly branded identifiers.
